To flash Nightwing in a non Ubiquiti device that has RedBoot (like the Fonera) you must follow this instructions:
Code:
http://nightwing.lugro-mesh.org.ar/en/doc/howto_flash.html
http://nightwing.lugro-mesh.org.ar/en/doc/howto_redboot_thru_lan.html

I have a Forena 2000 flashed with Nightwing 0.7 using this files:
Code:
http://nightwing.lugro-mesh.org.ar/download/0.7/nightwing_v0.7-vmlinux.lzma
http://nightwing.lugro-mesh.org.ar/download/0.7/nightwing_v0.7-root.squashfs

To access the admin page of Nightwing, in a web browser enter the IP and then use:
Code:
user: admin
pasword: lugro-mesh

If the Fonera isn't connected to the Internet or no gateway node is reachable, you will get that message.

If your Fonera is connected to a network that has a DHCP server, then it will get an IP from your LAN, and you too. If it is acting as a Client node (no Internet connectiong atached to it) and there is no DHCP atached either, you can connect to the LAN port and get an IP from the DHCP server running in the Fonera (which also has a DHCP server running in the Private and Public AP).

In any case you can connect to the Private AP, in your case it will be lugro-secure-37544, and enter the IP 10.146.168.129 (which should be the IP of the Private AP of your Fonera) and then a prompt to enter the user "admin" and password "lugro-mesh" will appear.

How is the Fonera connected? As Gateway or Client?

First Try the Private AP (lugro-secure-xxxx), which doesn't have WiFiDog listening on it. Use a network manager to get an IP and to enter the WPA2 passphrase which is: Lugr0-mesh   (0 is a zero)

Then you will be able to ssh into the node to the IP 10.146.168.129, or see the admin web page or just start to surf the web.

The Public AP (lugro-mesh-xxxx) requires to register a user for WiFiDog, and is prefered for external users.
