Is it possible to change the SSID for the mesh and the secure wifi connections?

I have tried to change it in /etc/config/wireless which seems to have worked but I can't connect to them!

Is there anything else I need to change?

Thanks,

Matt.

Ah yes. I found that just a few moments ago!

I think my laptop was part of the problem. a quick reboot seemed to sort it out.  Smiley

Thanks.

Okay. Keep in mind the theme of dhcp. If you take the ip from eth and wifi at the same time, routing problems can occur.

Sure. I did not have a hard network connection but I did have 4 nodes active in the same room so I think win XP was just getting a bit confused!

Running very well on the bullet2. Will be deploying 8 nodes next month so I will report on how they cope with a real world test.

Not only that. Strange things happen when there are many radios turned on in a tiny place. You should adjust the values of the sames so as not to interfere with each other.

Matt.

Such evidence is very important to us. Please tell us if you have a paper or you are thinking write about your test. With pleasure we will publish the document in the site under your name and using the free distribution license of your choice.

No problem. I will be happy to do a full report after the event.

It is a one day event held at a huge show ground in the middle of the countryside. I will be using 8 Bullets running nightwing, 4 of which will be hard wired to the network, to provide free wifi access for the day. I expect to see around 300 - 400 users so it should provide lots of useful data.
