Visualisation Server? What does this setting do?

I am guessing that it off-loads some of the processing onto a remote server? Is that right?

It's a Visualization Server for B.A.T.M.A.N. (http://downloads.open-mesh.net/svn/batman/trunk/vis/README). You have to specify wich IP the vis server has, the server can be located inside the mesh cloud or in Internet.

Muchas gracias Julio (about as much Spanish as I know but I am learning slowly!)

So I guess its not a required component, just an extra for reporting. I also guess that my nodes have been "checking in" with the Lugro-mesh server!

Is there a tutorial or how to on installing and using it?

Thanks, Matt.

Yes, it's an extra tool that helps to see how the nodes are connected in the mesh cloud.

Yes, by default the images are configured for the LUGRo-Mesh Network.
nw_conf helps to adapt it to other networks.

See the README file from the sources of the vis server: http://downloads.open-mesh.net/svn/batman/trunk/vis/README

To compile it, just do 'make' inside the directory where the source code is.

Thanks, Matt.

Great. I'll have a play with it.

Matt.
