Hi All,

I've got a bit of a problem with my Nightwing boxes - they keep rebooting!  It seems to be something specific to my network at home, as when they are moved to alternative locations, they do not seem to exhibit this behaviour.

Can you tell me if there are any checks in the node which cause it to reboot?

You can see the situation here: http://sns.helkit.com/node_list.php - NS2a and NS2b are currently plugged into my LAN - Chailey4 used to be plugged into my LAN, but has now been moved to my friends house to see if the problem is node-related or not.

Any help gratefully appreciated!

Cheers,

Richie

In Nightwing 0.6 and older, there is a check that if the node gets an IP through LAN but there is no Internet connection, it reboots because it think its a blackhole.

This situation has already been avoided in current development.

BTW, we are testing the Traffic Shaping implementation and also the posibility to upgrade the nodes without losing the configuration Smiley  This is Nightwing 0.7
